Sean's Scouting Pages

I started in Scouting when my son joined as a Tiger Cub. Since then, I've held a variety of positions in several units, as well as the district and council, including Tiger parent, den leader, Webelos den leader, Cubmaster, assistant Scoutmaster, merit badge counselor, district training chairman, Cub Scout Roundtable Commissioner, district vice-chairman, and assistant council commissioner. Presently, I am the council vice-president of public relations and webmaster for the California Inland Empire Council.

I went to Wood Badge in July of 2000, and finished my ticket in 2001. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm a Buffalo from WM-45-2-00! I've had the opportunity to serve on Wood Badge staff three times: W4-45-02 (Troop Guide), our councils first 21st Century Wood Badge course, W4-45-03 (Scribe), and WE4-45-04 (ASM Troop Guides). For our upcoming course in 2005, I was slated to serve as ASM Program, but had to withdraw from the course due to time commitments.

Instead of Wood Badge, I'll be staffing the 2005 National Scout Jamboree in Caroline County, Virginia, as part of the web team. They actually stole me from my original assignment as a den leader for the National Cub Scout exhibit. Still, I hope to get some time to enjoy the Cub exhibit and meet all of my online Scouting friends!
